On August 27, Xiamen National Accounting Institute(XNAI) co-hosted the 2nd Asia-Pacific Anticorruption and Integrity Forum with the Asian Development Bank (ADB) and the Multilateral Cooperation Center for Development Finance (MCDF). This forum serves as a concrete measure by the Institute to implement the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee’s emphasis on "building up compliance capacity, and better preventing corruption-related risks" as well as a strong initiative to advance the "Clean Silk Road" action. Centering on the theme "Delivering Development with Integrity", the forum facilitated in-depth exchanges on the latest trends in integrity and compliance in the Asia-Pacific region, relevant policy standards of multilateral development banks, and practical corporate compliance experience. It is expected to actively contribute to enhancing the compliance capabilities of Chinese enterprises in the context of globalization.
The forum brought together around 230 participants, including representatives from multilateral institutions such as the ADB, African Development Bank(AfDB), Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank(AIIB), MCDF, New Development Bank(NDB), and the World Bank Group(WBG), as well as speakers and participants from government departments and enterprises in China and other Asia-Pacific countries.
